Trade Tattoo went even further than Rainbow Dance in its manipulation of the Gasparcolor process. The original black and white footage consisted of outtakes from GPO Film Unit documentaries such as Night Mail. Lye transformed this footage in what has been described as the most intricate job of film printing and color grading ever attempted. Animated words and patterns combine with the live-action footage to create images as complex and multi-layered as a Cubist painting. Music was provided by the Cuban Lecuona Band. With its dynamic rhythms, the film seeks (in Lye’s words) to convey “a romanticism about the work of the everyday in all walks of life."

“Death is my Trade” centers on the life of Rudolph Höss, the commandant of Auschwitz II-Birkenau for the majority of its existence. The main character's name in the film is Franz Lang. This name change was deliberate to ensure that the character is not automatically viewed as being some sort of villain or demon. Franz is an average German kid growing up during World War I. The film follows Franz as he grows up and becomes a hard, efficient, organized worker who eventually joins the National Socialist party in Germany. Impressionable young Franz takes orders as one of the utmost points of honor and duty, so when he is eventually asked by Heinrich Himmler to become commandant of the largest extermination camp built during WWII he barely hesitates to consider how heavy such a burden will be.

The Rag Trade is a British television sitcom broadcast by the BBC between 1961 and 1963 and by LWT between 1977 and 1978. The scripts were by Ronald Wolfe and Ronald Chesney, who later wrote Wild, Wild Women, Meet the Wife and On the Buses. Wild, Wild Women was a period variation of The Rag Trade. The action centred on a small clothing workshop, Fenner Fashions in London. Although run by Harold Fenner and Reg the foreman, the female workers are led by militant shop steward Paddy Fleming, ever ready to strike, with the catchphrase "Everybody out!" Other cast members included Sheila Hancock, Esma Reese Cannon, Wanda Ventham and Barbara Windsor. The Rag Trade was revived by ITV company LWT in 1977, with Jones and Karlin reprising their roles. The 1977 version ran for two series, most of the scripts being based on the BBC episodes from the 1960s, and featured Anna Karen and future EastEnders star Gillian Taylforth as factory workers. The theme tune for the LWT series was written and performed by Lynsey De Paul.

Jack of All Trades is a half-hour long syndicated action-comedy television series which ran for two seasons in 2000. With Cleopatra 2525, it formed the Back2Back Action Hour and both shows were notable for being the first American non-animated action series to be produced in the half-hour format since the 1970s. The show was canceled in the middle of its second season. The program is set at the turn of the 19th century on the fictional French-controlled island of Pulau-Pulau in the East Indies. Jack Stiles is an American secret agent sent there by President Jefferson. While there, he meets his British contact and love interest, English spy Emilia Rothschild. Together, the two work to stop Napoleon and various other threats to the United States. To the public, Jack is seen as Emilia's attaché, but when the need arises, he transforms into a masked hero: The Daring Dragoon. The show contained many on-going gags, such as deliberate historical inaccuracies, Jack being responsible for many important historical events but not receiving credit, Emilia inventing a miraculous invention in an obvious deus ex machina, sexual puns and innuendos, and Jack and Emilia's ongoing romantic tension.

It was presented by Mike Brewer and Edd China, who have worked together on other TV series, including Wheeler Dealers. Each episode was 30 minutes long. The programme was set in the fictitious garage called Mike's Motors. The format for each episode remains the same: ⁕Mike introduces a buyer who is interested in purchasing a certain type of car e.g.: small hatchback, luxury car etc. He has three or more cars on offer, and the buyer decides which ones he or she is most interested in, taking usually two for a test drive. Mike gives details of any potential problems with the cars. At the end of the episode, the buyer decides which car he has chosen to buy. ⁕Edd meets a seller who has been trying to sell their car for a number of weeks. There is usually a reason why the car hasn't sold and he works with the seller to repair and clean the vehicle, usually increasing the value of the car. ⁕Mike shows the viewer how to spot a lemon, working as a dodgy seller with a potential buyer, or meeting "reformed car clocker" Tony who shows Mike how to spot a clocked, cloned or stolen vehicle. The series has been repeated on Discovery Turbo.
Rogue Traders was a prime-time BBC One presenter-led investigative consumer affairs television series starring Matt Allwright, an investigative journalist and presenter and his side-kick, Dan Penteado who also works as a private investigator around Europe and the UK. Rogue Traders began in 2001 and has run for nine series on BBC One. Allwright and Penteado film and script much of the series themselves, resulting in an improvised, 'on the hoof' feel to the show. An occasional catchphrase used during the show is "We never give up." Since 10 September 2009, a new one-hour revamp of the consumer-affairs programme Watchdog began airing, incorporating Rogue Traders as a segment of the show.
