The Story of Pollyanna, Girl of Love (愛少女ポリアンナ物語) is a Japanese anime series by Nippon Animation, and part of the World Masterpiece Theater series. It consists of 51 episodes. Premiering across Fuji TV between January 12 and December 28, 1986, it has rerun across Japan on Animax from February 2007. It was based on the 1913 novel Pollyanna and following 1915 sequel Pollyanna Grows Up by Eleanor H. Porter.
ESPNU Inside the Polls is a television program that breaks down the latest college football polls. The program airs every Monday for one hour from 6pm ET to 7pm ET on ESPNU during the college football season. Since debuting on September 5, 2005, the host has been ESPNU signature anchor Mike Hall along with analysis from former head coach Mike Gottfried and ESPN's Scout's Inc. analyst Todd McShay. Its official name is ESPNU Inside the Polls presented by Conoco. The show was originally named The U:Inside the Polls, but was changed before the 2006 college football season. The show breaks down the latest college football polls in contrast to the performance of those teams on Saturday. ESPNU Inside the Polls is broadcast at the ESPNU headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina and was one of the first studio programs to air on the network.
The Polly Bergen Show is a half-hour 18-episode comedy/variety show, starring then 27-year-old Polly Bergen, which aired on NBC in the 1957-1958 television season. The program is remembered for its impressive guest-star lineup as well as its closing theme song, "The Party's Over".The Polly Bergen Show alternated in the 9 p.m. EST Saturday time slot with the equally short-lived Club Oasis.
Cow and Chicken is an American animated comedy television series created by David Feiss for Cartoon Network. The series follows the surreal adventures of a cow, named Cow, and her chicken brother, named Chicken. They are often antagonized by "The Red Guy", who poses as various characters to scam them. Late into the series run, the characters I.M. Weasel and I.R. Baboon, who were part of the series' recurring segment, I Am Weasel, were given their own half-hour series of the same name. Like Dexter's Laboratory and some other Cartoon Network series from the 1990s, the original pilot appeared as an episode of the animated shorts showcase project What a Cartoon!, the brainchild of Fred Seibert, then-president of Hanna-Barbera. The Cow and Chicken series first broadcast on Cartoon Network from July 15, 1997, to July 24, 1999, with reruns airing prominently on the network until April 2006. Reruns are played on Boomerang, which are rated TV-Y7. The series was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1996 and 1998.
The main character of the story is Pollon, a sweet, precocious little girl who is the daughter of the God of the Sun, Apollo. Pollon's goal in life is to grow up to become a beautiful and powerful goddess. She attempts to do good deeds and help out any way she can in order to achieve the status of godhood. Invariably, her overtures backfire and end up causing major trouble for both the gods of Olympus and their human subjects. However, Pollon's kind heart, perseverance and indomitable spirit win out in the end, as she attains the title of "Goddess of Hope."

Thumbelina: A Magical Story is a Japanese anime series produced by Enoki Films and adapted from the original Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale Thumbelina by Akiyoshi Sakai. It premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo on September 30, 1992 and ran for twenty-six episodes until its conclusion on March 31, 1993. The series was edited into an eighty-minute film and released in North America on VHS by Starmaker Entertainment in 1993. In 2006, Digiview Entertainment re-released the Starmaker film to DVD.
