16 and Pregnant is an American reality television series that debuted June 11, 2009, on MTV. It follows the stories of pregnant teenage girls in high school dealing with the hardships of teenage pregnancy. Each episode features a different teenage girl, with the episode typically beginning when she is 4 ¹⁄2 – 8 months into her pregnancy. The episode typically ends when the baby is a few months old. The series is produced in a documentary format, with an animation on notebook paper showing highlights during each episode preceding the commercial breaks. 16 and Pregnant has spawned several spin-off series: Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom 3. Each series follows the lives of four girls from their respective season of 16 and Pregnant as they navigate their first years of motherhood. As of July 2013, casting for the fifth season of the series is taking place.
My Super Sweet 16 is a MTV reality series documenting the lives of teenagers, usually in the United States, Canada and UK, who usually have wealthy parents who throw huge coming of age celebrations. Parties include the quinceañera, the sweet 16, and other birthdays including a My Super Sweet 21 and My Super Swag 18. The show premiered on January 18, 2005. The opening theme is "Sweet Sixteen" sung by Hilary Duff. The show has also covered a number of celebrity coming of age parties. Bow Wow, Sean Kingston, Aly and AJ, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy Tell Em have all had their parties featured on the show. A UK version of the program was also produced, and also a Spanish version entitled "Quiero mis quinces" or "Super Dulces 16" produced by MTV. In 2008, MTV launched a spinoff titled Exiled. On the show, a number of parents of participants on My Super Sweet 16 banish their teens to remote countries in order to see if their "sweet sixteener" will survive the harsh conditions. In 2009, MTV announced their newest addition to the franchise, My Super Psycho Sweet 16, a horror movie based on the concept of the show which aired on October 23, 2009, featuring Julianna Guill.

Gad, along with Jason Winer and Jon Lovett jointly created the central characters and the situation-comedy core format. NBC placed a series order in May 2012. The series originally aired as a mid-season replacement from December 17, 2012 to March 27, 2013. It was announced on May 9, 2013, that NBC had canceled the series.
Aika is an intelligent and athletic high school girl. Competently she successfully passes the salvager's licence test, obtaining a C-class license. She manages to get the attention of Eri, a daughter of a rich family and head of the school's treasure hunting club. She asks Aika to salvage something from the sea floor and Aika accepts the assignment. However, upon seeing the state-of-the-art submarine loaded onto Eri's private cruiser and discovering their destination, Aika realises the dangerous nature of this mission, culminating in a clash with a group of armed high school girls on the southern islands.

The title refers to the aspect ratio of 16:9 high definition television broadcasts which display a wider area, hence, a bigger picture, as opposed to 4:3 standard definition. Originally airing as a half-hour series, 16x9 has expanded to an hour-long program for the 2011-12 television season. It is a continuation of the show, Race for the White House, which was originally hosted by David Gregory and aired in the same time slot from March to November 2008. Shuster became the host of the show when Gregory became moderator of NBC's Meet the Press. The show had a rotating array of panelists, but Eugene Robinson, Michael Smerconish, Richard Wolffe, and Pat Buchanan had appeared on a frequent basis. Race for the White House and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue aired nightly at 6 PM Eastern on MSNBC.
