At the Threshold of an Era was a Hong Kong epic drama series broadcast by TVB Jade Channel from October 11, 1999 to December 18, 1999 and March 13, 2000 to May 26, 2000, and was extensively promoted by TVB as its cross-milliennium, one-hundred-episode-long epic. The series composed of two parts, with a gap in between the airing. The entire series took place in a continuing flashback, with one of the main characters pondering the trials and tribulations he went through while riding on a train in the "green city" he developed.

The program was originally produced in France in 1987 by Procidis and directed by Albert Barillé. The series consists of 26 episodes and originally was aired on the French channel Canal+, and then on the state owned channel FR3. It is the third part of the Once Upon a Time... series. Once Upon a Time... Life reintroduced the edutainment formula that had been left out on Once Upon a Time... Space. The series combined entertaining storylines with factual information, presented metaphorically. The series Once Upon a Time... Life used the same characters from the other Once Upon a Time... seasons: the good characters represent the cells that make up the body's systems and defense mechanisms, such as red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets, while the bad characters represent the viruses and bacteria that threaten to attack the human body. Every episode of the series featured a different organ or system within the human body. In the French-language version of the series, the opening theme song "la Vie" was performed by Sandra Kim, the winner of the 1986 Eurovision contest.
Once Upon a Time… Space is a French/Japanese animated TV series from 1982, directed by Albert Barillé. The series was animated in Japan by the animation studio Eiken, and is thus considered to be anime as it also aired on Japanese TV, albeit not until 1984, under the title Ginga Patrol PJ. In contrast to the show's success in the West, the series' Japanese broadcast was consigned to an early-morning time slot and attracted little attention.

Once Upon a Time… Man is a French animated TV series from 1978 directed by Albert Barillé. It is the first in the Once Upon a Time... franchise. The series explains world history in a format designed for children. The action focuses around one group. The same familiar characters appear in all episodes as they deal with the problems of their time. The series' opening and ending title sequences famously used Johann Sebastian Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor as the main title theme music. Shortening the piece to only 2 minutes in length, the introduction uses the very beginning, which jumps into the start of the middle section and finally the dramatic ending to coincide with the destruction of Earth at the end of the intro.

Lola... Érase Una Vez is a teen targeted Mexican melodrama telenovela produced by Televisa that is an adaptation of the Argentine global phenomenon and teenage telenovela Floricienta. The show tells the story of a modern Cinderella, Lola, a 20 year old girl, who works as a nanny and sings in a rock band and meets her so call Prince Charming. It debuted in Mexico on February 26, 2007, starring Aarón Díaz and Eiza González. The show had gained popularity among teens and children not only in Mexico but also internationally including Venezuela, Spain and the in United States. With concert performances filling major auditoriums and songs by the protagonist become radio hits. It debuted in the United States on Univision in March 2008 and ended on January 26, 2009. The series consisted of 224 episodes which aried Monday through Friday at 3 P.M, intentionally for teenagers to watch after school, as is typical for most teenage & children telenovelas in Spanish networks. The U.S. DVD release date was on January 6, 2009 nationwide. The series, produced by Pedro Damián and associate producer Luis Luisillo Miguel and originally created by Cris Morena, portrays the life of a modern-day Cinderella named Lola Valente, who resides in Mexico City, as a part-time worker on the Von Ferdinand mansion. Lola...Érase Una Vez includes the songs as "Si Me Besas" & "Masoquismo", Espiral, Princesa and Sapo Azul, among others. In March 2009, González won New Artist/Revelation of the Year at the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards. González was nominated for Best New Artist at the Premios Oye!, alongside Jesse & Joy and María José. Gonzalez also performed in 2008 in los premios juventude. The show didn't reach the success of its predecessor, Rebelde and was moved from Canal de las Estrellas to Canal 5. It still spawned a series of licensed products, a sold out tour, a magazine and an album which received Golden certification.
